Grass, fence and your best friend... what more do you need?

When we bought Avery from the (smelly) little Korean pet shop, he was in a little kennel with his brother. When we brought him "home" to our apartment, the nearest grass patch was a farm across a busy road. So, Avery and Whitaker had to get used to "doing their business" on puppy pee pads out on our screened in porch and their exercise was minimal.  Our new house has a yard AND a fence and it has been GREAT! This is much better than running circles around our apartment! :) The new house rule is that when the dogs start "rough-housing," they have to go outside. This is often what happens when they've got ants in their pants and just need to run. I love it.... Play hard, sleep hard!
