Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Uncle Casey made it to Georgia just in time for Christmas on Christmas Eve.

I think they are friends already

Later that evening the eight of us celebrated Christmas at a house downtown Savannah, on the River.  My dad decorated the tree, the Palm tree that is.

our dollar tree stockings :)

Time to open gifts! Irelyn had fun with her toys... Caius WILL have fun with his toys...some day :)

He was excited in his sleep

The little Caius burrito was ready to open his first Christmas gift!

Clinton was NOT happy about Emily's choice of glitter wrapping paper

And his first gift was... flipper slippers! Now he can be a little ducky with his slippers on.

Clinton, Casey and Caius all hanging out together... ??

Christmas morning I stepped outside to capture the day. It was a beautiful day with beautiful views of the River

We gave Irelyn a baby doll for Christmas. The doll came with a little pacifier. the pacifier just had a teeny tiny little plastic nub, but Irelyn figured out how to use it for herself.

She played with her baby doll so cute

... she was either finding the baby's nose, or poking her in the eye... not quite sure

I think this was Mimas first Caius diaper change of the trip

Irelyn is a stingy kisser and usually if you ask her for a kiss she most likely won't give you one (unless you are Clinton)... but for her baby cousin, she had lots of kisses.

Christmas corduroys

Decorating Christmas cookies

at five days old, Caius slept through most of Christmas

Caius sure can scowl

Mima, it's so bright!

after Christmas we all spent some quality hang-out time at our house

the guys were chatting

Caius looks a lot like grandpa Randy... they've even got the same hair :)

We had a hawkeye Bowl party...

... and that ended...

well, you know how that ended.

It was great having my family here over Christmas and to meet baby Caius. We had a relaxing time enjoying each others company.

  1. You look kind of worried in the picture when I am getting ready to change Caius :). You probably thought, 'she has noooo idea.' haha.
